Our perfect wedding day at Black River Cottages – Prince Edward County

Our fall wedding at the Black River Cottages was a truly magical experience. The changing leaves provided a stunning backdrop for our special day, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The weather had been gloomy and wet all morning, but as the bride stood at the entrance of the aisle, the rain subsided.

The crisp autumn air added a refreshing touch to the festivities, as we exchanged vows surrounded by the natural beauty of the countryside. The sound of the lake flowing nearby provided a soothing soundtrack to our ceremony, creating a romantic ambiance to the occasion. Our family and friends were able to enjoy the picturesque surroundings while celebrating our love and commitment to each other.

As the sun began to set, the warm glow of the evening light created a soft, golden hue, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The cozy reception was filled with laughter, love, and joy as we danced the night away with our closest family and friends. Our autumn wedding in our own back yard was a dream come true, and we will cherish the memories for years to come.

The charming cottages provided a cozy and intimate accommodation for the wedding guests. Nestled amidst lush greenery, each cottage with its own charm that perfectly complemented the romantic ambiance of the wedding. With their quaint interiors and comfortable amenities, the cottages offered a delightful retreat for the guests to relax and unwind after the festivities.

The decision to have the wedding guests stay in the cottages added an extra touch of charm and exclusivity to the event. Each cottage was thoughtfully designed to create a home away from home for the guests. From the cozy fireplaces to the private patios, the cottages offered a personalized experience that made the guests feel truly special. It was a wonderful opportunity for the guests to connect with nature and each other, fostering a sense of togetherness and creating lasting memories of the wedding celebration.
